PMGA Two Man – No Scotch

Summer weather came early to the Plateau Club for the annual Two Man – No Scotch tournament. The format is a bit unique. Each player tees off, then each player plays his partner’s ball for the second shot. From there the best ball is chosen and a scramble format is used until the ball is holed.
A total of forty players, a full third of the PMGA, were drawn by the great weather. The scores were tight from top to bottom. In the end, Dave Reischman & Greg Sinn and Ken Falkner & Fred Glastetter tied for Gross honors with a 72. Mark Schaefer & Jay Horton took the Net with a 64.
This has led to a lot of movement in the Plateau Cup standings. Dave Reischman and Norm Escover continue to fight it out at the top with Jay Horton right behind. Big movers up the table from Mark Schaefer, Mike Abernathy, Andy Conrad, Fred Glastetter, Bob Thomas and Dave Eden.
